An animal rescue service has saved a large group of bunnies and now seeks a home for them. 36 rabbits were rescued by the RSPCA from a house in Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales, last year, when it was revealed that they were living in wire mesh cages with no bedding, environmental enrichment, or adequate weather protection. A charity has provided food to the residents living around a stand-off that’s happening in Coventry. Avtar Kaur, manager of a humanitarian aid organisation, says that they were “contacted yesterday morning requesting food for the residents. Our team then took hot meals, hot drinks along with fresh fruit and vegetables, which we were able to set up at the Old Clarence Pub”. Over the holiday season, the council announced adjustments to its typical collection schedule, with some houses missing out on rubbish pickup. A man that was missing in Birmingham earlier today has been found. Birmingham Police said that the man was found through social media after posting an appeal relating to 66-year-old Yusuf’s disappearance. Yusuf was reported to be missing in the Balsall Heath or Tylsley area. He was described as “5ft 6ins, has short grey hair and is wearing a black jumper, a black coat and light grey trousers”. The police haven’t yet announced any details about Yusuf’s well-being or where they found him. However, they thanked the community for sharing their appeal through Twitter.
