The National Wedding Show has arrived in Birmingham this weekend.
Taking place over three days at the NEC, the UK’s biggest wedding show opened to thousands of people, all eager to get some inspiration for their big day.
The show sees over 300 designers and brands from across the country all coming together under one roof to provide a one stop wedding shop.
Lizzie Rogue, David’s Bridal Marketing Manager, said: “It’s always great to meet our brides-to-be and show them our collections from designers exclusive to David’s Bridal.
“We really want to be inclusive to every bride and believe that regardless of style, shape or budget we have the perfect dress for every bride.”
Sally Mills travelled from Northamptonshire for the show: “I’m looking for inspiration and to get a few ideas.
“Days like this make me feel like there’s a lot to think about, but I’ve got quite a lot sorted so I’m not too bad.
“It’s definitely a girls day out.”
The Catwalk is the show’s big feature with dresses from top designers and high street names all making an appearance.
As well as bridal wear, the catwalk features bridesmaid dresses, mother of the bride outfits and suits for the men.
Group Show Manager, Laura Bates, Ocean Media Events, said: “We’re so happy to see such an excited audience at this season’s National Wedding Show here in Birmingham.
“We’ve seen tears of happiness, more men than ever getting involved with the wedding planning process and even a proposal!”
Scott Clarke, from Birmingham, took his best man along to the show: “My fiancé had to work so we’ve come together instead.
“We’re here for inspiration at this stage, we’ve set a date but that’s about it.
“We want to shop around once we know roughly what we want.”
The National Wedding Show is at the NEC Birmingham from 29th September 2017 – 1st October 2017 and standard tickets can be bought on the door from £20.
