A Stirchley-based business is giving people the chance to soak themselves in beer to raise money for charity.

Birmingham Brewing Company will host the Beer Drencher event between 11am and 3pm on 4th December in aid of the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

Visitors to the brewery will be able to soak friends, family members or work colleagues while sponsors watch on.

Charlotte Anson, from the Birmingham Brewing Compay, said: “We can’t wait to host this event – and we are still deciding who from our own team will be getting drenched.

“We hope there will be a great turn out on the day so we can raise lifesaving funds for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.”

The business began supporting the air ambulance in 2020 with the launch of the low alcohol pale ale, Sober Brummie. Five percent of the sales from the drink go to he charity.

Pam Hodgetts, corporate partnerships manager for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “It’s thanks to passionate local companies within the communities we serve that our pre-hospital emergency service is able to stay operational.”
