Solihull Moors draw with Tamworth in latest pre-season fixture

Solihull Moors continued their pre-season programme with a 1-1 draw at Tamworth.

The hosts took the lead when Bradley Reid was brought down in the box and picked himself up to net the resulting penalty kick.

The game was levelled up before the break when Luke Benbow won a penalty which Jermaine Hylton chipped nonchalantly down the middle.

Hylton almost added a second after the interval only to see his effort well saved by Lambs keeper Lee Evans.

Reece Styche went close for Tamworth at the other end but neither side managed to find the net before the full time whistle.

Elsewhere, Midland Football League side Cadbury Athletic went down 3-1 at Smithswood Firs, while Paget Rangers were beaten 4-2 at home to Alvechurch in their latest pre-season clash.
