Aston Villa expect to have their goalkeeper and captain both available for their trip to Tottenham Hotspur.

Boss Unai Emery confirmed that Emi Martinez and John McGinn had returned from international duty with minor issues.

But he expects both to be fit for the clash tomorrow (26th November).

“Emi is coming back with a little bit of pain but I think tomorrow he will be okay,” Emery said.

“John trained well – he came back here with us and he rested, but today he was training and, at the end of training, I asked him and he told me he’s ready.

“Hopefully tomorrow it doesn’t change and I think he will be okay for Sunday.”

Villa will be without Bertrand Traore though after he returned from international duty with an injury after scoring twice for Burkino Faso.
