The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire is hosting a great line up of guest performances this month. Artists from BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists are also set to take the stage.
The conservatoire’s new facility boasts a Concert Hall, Recital Hall, Organ Studio and the Eastside Jazz Club. The upcoming concerts will be a great chance for music lovers to experience the magic firsthand.

Steve Fishwick and John O’Gallagher, featuring Mark Hodgson and Jeff Williams
Popular jazz trumpet player Steve Fishwick will be performing with contemporary New York jazz pioneer John O’Gallagher, an alto saxophonist on 18th of this month. They are all set to perform at the Eastside Jazz club. For a melodious Thursday evening, this could be your pick.
Arno Bornkamp
Dutch classical saxophonist, Arno Bornkamp is known as a lyrical musician. Bornkamp is all set to perform at the Conservatoire tomorrow. He is popular for having the right balance of traditional and contemporary style in his repertoire. In case you fancy an evening of sax, hop onto the Recital Hall.
Trish Clowes – My Iris
BASCA British composer and award winner Trish Clowes who leads the quartet My Iris featuring Chris Montague, Ross Stanley and James Maddren is also on the performer’s list. My Iris is her fourth album that was released in January 2017 and has received much acclaim from the Jazz critics. Fans of jazz may be well acquainted with her and so here’s your chance to catch her perform live on 25th of this month.
Quatuor Arod
A part of the BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists, Quatuor Arod will have a special live broadcast from the Concert Hall. They are quickly emerging to be leading names when it comes to string quartets. The performers of the quartet include Jordan Victoria, Alexandre Vu on Violin, Corentin Apparailly on Viola and Samy Rachid on Cello. Arod will be performing on the 30th of this month.
