Rising global temperatures have been linked to an increase of blood sugar levels in type 2 diabetes patients from research at De Montfort University Leicester.
Dr Abdullah Alghamdi, analysed diabetes patients records at a hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia over six years and found that for every 1°C rising in temperature, the average blood sugar level in patients rose by 0.007%.
