A murder inquiry has been launched after a woman died in her home in Netherton.
West Midlands Police and West Midlance Ambulance services responded to a call at 8.15PM on Wednesday 24th January.
She was pronounced dead at the scene at Cider Bank, just outside of Dudley.
A 50 year old man was arrested at the scene and taken to hospital, where he is recovering from head injuries.
Detective Inspector Paul Joyce, said:
“We are in the very early stages of this enquiry, but at present we are not looking for anyone else in connection with the woman’s death.”
