Birmingham City are likely to be without Lukas Jutkiewicz once more as they face Bristol City.
The striker is not expected to return from injury until the midweek clash with Bolton Wanderers.
But Blues will still be hopeful of maintaining an unbeaten run against the Robins that stretches back 13 league games, including two 1-0 triumphs last season courtesy of Che Adams goals.
It’s a trend that Bristol City boss Lee Johnson is keen to buck though, telling the club’s website that he expects a tough test of his side.
“Obviously we’ll have a game plan and each team has their own strengths and weaknesses,” he said. “We’re coming up against a very physically strong side, so we have to make sure our boys are tough, up for it and ready.”
Bristol City go into the game with a 100% record so far this season, beating Barnsley 3-1 on the opening day before smashing five goals without reply past Plymouth Argyle in the Carabao Cup.
Blues also struck five in midweek as they saw off Crawley Town, but they’ll be keen to improve on their disappointing Championship opening day defeat against Ipswich Town.
