    Mapped: where do UKIP candidates live? Plus maps for the other 4 main parties

    We’ve been analysing local election documents to find out where candidates live – and the results show some distinct differences between different parties…

    First up, the Green Party, whose candidates overwhelmingly live in the south east of the city.

    But Labour candidates seem to prefer the north east:

    The Lib Dems like the east:

    And the Conservatives like the west:

    As for UKIP? They don’t seem to mind – as long as it’s far away from the centre:
