A blues-rock star has announced the release of a new live album ahead of a show in Birmingham later this year.

Joe Bonamassa will play the Utilita Arena on 14th May as part of a five date UK tour.

But fans will be able to get their fix ahead of the show with the release of his Tales of Time album.

Recorded live at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the record will be released on 14th April.

The Grammy-nominated guitarist said: “This live show represents our most progressive and largest production to date focusing on my most ambitious studio album to date, Time Clocks.

“The iconic Kevin Shirley once again has produced both wonderful music and a wonderful visual. My band was a force of nature on this show and it truly was a special night.”

More details on the album and tickets for the show in Birmingham are available here.
