The trial of two people accused of stabbing an aspiring model in the heart as he walked home is due to start today at Birmingham Crown Court.
26-year old James Brindley was attacked while walking home from a night out with friends in Aldridge, near Walsall, last June.
20-year old Aaron Kahrod and a 17-year old boy who cannot be name for legal reasons, were arrested for murder after an intense police investigation and a public appeal from the victim’s parents.
The pair have pleaded not guilty and the trial is expected to last for around three weeks.
