Aston Villa have been handed an injury boost after it was confirmed Lucas Digne will be available for their trip to Newcastle.
The French full back has missed the last five Premier League games due to a heel injury.
Temporary head coach Aaron Danks – who will take charge of the game while new boss Unai Emery awaits his work permit – said: “Lucas has done a full week of training back in with the group, that’s fantastic, so we welcome him back into the squad.”
Meanwhile, fellow French international Boubacar Kamara has also returned to training but will not be fit for the trip to Newcastle.
