Former Birmingham City midfielder Darren Carter has been named as the Solihull Moors captain for the season.
The 33-year-old, who has also turned out for the likes of West Bromwich Albion and Preston North End, will don the armband when they travel to Leyton Orient tomorrow (August 8th).
Carter told the Moors website: ““I am delighted to take on the responsibility of club captain.
“It will be a real privilege to lead a great set of lads into the new season.”
Tomorrow’s fixture will see Moors make a belated start to the season after their opening day encounter with Chester was postponed.
