Midfielder Diego Fabbrini has left Birmingham City to join Real Oviedo.
The 26-year-old Italian international has moved to the Spanish side on a season-long loan.
He spent the second half of the last campaign out on loan at Spezia in his homeland.
A statement on the Blues website said: “As Harry Redknapp attempts to build a side that he thinks is capable of promotion, he has deemed Fabbrini surplus to requirements.”
