    Birmingham author to release new Midlands walking memoir

    A Birmingham author’s new walking memoir will be published next month.

    A Midland Meander sees Brian J Rance share anecdotes from locations across the region.

    The book covers a 150-mile ramble around the West Midlands and was created over the course of two Covid-hit hears.

    Kings Heath resident Brian said: “My book is organised in four chapters – Alvechurch to Kinver, Kinver to Brewood, Brewood to Tamworth and Tamworth to Alvechurch.

    “It loosely follows a number of long-distance footpaths including the Monarch’s Way, the Staffordshire Way and the Heart of England Way and traverses the counties of Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Warwickshire.”

    A Midland Meander is published buy The Book Guild on 28th February.
