A group of Selly Oak residents have started a petition to ban estate agents from putting up ‘to let’ signs from residents’ property. More than a hundred people have signed a petition to ban ‘to let’ signs all year round across the city. A group created the petition claiming that the signs were attached to houses all year round in Selly Oak and other neighboring areas. Range Rovers are being targeted by criminals in the West Midlands. The popular 4×4 motor car is among the list of the top 10 most stolen cars, according to a new study by Global Telemetric. The police are persuading vehicle owners to install additional security measures to prevent future thefts.
