Aston Villa captain John Terry will face no further action over an incident in his final game for Chelsea.
The former England man was substituted in the 26th minute – to match his shirt number – in his final game for the London club.
But the Football Association launched an investigation after a number of bets were placed on the substitution taking place.
The FA’s integrity department has now decided neither Chelsea nor Terry have any case to answer.
The defender – who moved to B6 on a free over the summer – will make his competitive Villa debut when they face Hull City on the opening day of the Championship season on Saturday (August 5th).
