Travellers heading from Birmingham will be able to enjoy trips to Naples after a new route was announced.

    An easyJet aircraft

The Italian link will be flown by easyJet from 1st April, with departures on Tuesdays and Fridays.

It follows the confirmation by the airline of flights between Birmingham and Milan from 26th June.

Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK country manager, said: “We are delighted to announce yet another new route from Birmingham today, strengthening our connections between the Midlands and Italy and offering our customers more choice for a holiday this summer.

“We remain focused on offering great value and more choice for our customers, whether they are travelling on their holidays, visiting friends and family, or for business, and I would like to thank our fantastic customers for choosing to fly with easyJet.”

Tom Screen, aviation director for Birmingham Airport, said: “We’re thrilled easyJet is strengthening connectivity between Britain’s second city and Italy’s third city.

“I have no doubt demand will be strong for these twice-weekly flights as customers enjoy the culture, cuisine and sights on offer in the Campania region.”
