Aston Villa agree another loan deal for Manchester United keeper Sam Johnstone

Goalkeeper Sam Johnstone has agreed to return to Aston Villa on a season long loan.

The Manchester United stopper spent last season at Villa Park and Steve Bruce has moved to bring him back once more.

Johnstone, who will wear the number one shirt next season, said he was pleased to be back in B6.

He told the club’s website: “I believe it can be a special season for all of us and I will be working hard each and every day to produce the kind of performances that will help us achieve what we’re aiming for.”
