Captain Marvel premiered in London last night at the Curzon Mayfair, with stars of the film and other special guests attending the red carpet event — and Birmingham Eastside was there to witness the spectacle of everything that comes with a hotly-anticipated new Marvel movie.
Given that the last movie to be released in the franchise, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ grossed US$200m in its opening weekend in America, Disney is sure to have high hopes for Captain Marvel, especially when it features the legendary Samuel L Jackson, who said at the premiere:
“I had a lot of fun working on the film”.
Captain Marvel is based on the Marvel Comics character Carol Danvers, and was directed and written by Anna Bowden and Ryan Fleck.
