Birmingham City manager Garry Monk believes striker Che Adams will continue to improve.

The forward scored in his side’s win over Stoke City at the weekend and will be hoping to make an impact again this evening (23rd October) as Blues entertain Reading.

Monk’s men currently sit 14th in the Championship, just four points off the play-off berths.

The Blues boss said Adams’ efforts so far this season had been impressive.

“He’s getting better and better,” he told the club website.

“Che is still very young, but I don’t class him as a young player as he’s been around long enough to know what he’s got do.

“He’s growing and his partnership up top with Lukas Jutkiewicz is getting stronger and stronger.”
