Former Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has been appointed as the new boss of Ipswich Town.
Lambert, who left Villa Park in 2015 after three years in charge, will replace Paul Hurst at the Tractor Boys.
His appointment is a controversial one, due to a previous spell in charge of Ipswich’s rivals Norwich City.
Lambert said: “”I can’t wait to get going and I’ll be using all my experience – and give everything I’ve got for Ipswich.”
Since departing Villa, Lambert has gone on to manage Blackburn Rovers, Wolves and Stoke City.
