Fast-paced start helps Solihull Moors secure victory against Maidstone United

Tim Flowers hailed his Solihull Moors side’s quick start as they secured victory over Maidstone United.

The result moves Moors up to fourth in the table after goals from Danny Wright and Adi Yussuf inside the opening eight minutes gave them a two-goal lead.

Maidstone pulled one back through Blair Turgott, but a second half strike from Jermaine Hylton wrapped up the points.

Flowers told the club website: “It was a start from heaven for us. We were out the traps quickly and scored with what seemed like our first two attacks.

“In the end I thought we deserved it – another big win on the road for us.”
