A triumphant season comes to an end this weekend for Tamworth as they travel south to play Banbury United on the last day of the season.

The Lambs, who were crowned champions of the National League North two weeks ago, head into the game in high spirits having claimed a 3-2 win against South Shields last week.

They will be hoping for one more good result to celebrate back-to-back promotions which will see them play National League football next season.

Having won 2-1 away from home in the reverse fixture, Banbury also head into the final day with nothing to play for, having had their relegation confirmed several weeks ago.

The Puritans are in dire straits having not won a league match in 17 matches.

Manager Kevin Wilson is yet to win a match having taken over in January and will be hoping to get at least one victory on the board before the season is out.

The match will kick-off at 3pm tomorrow (20th April). Tickets are £15 for adults, £11 for over 65s, £8 for students, £5 for under 18s and under 11s for £2 accompanied with an adult.
