Birmingham City manager Pep Clotet is expecting a tough test of his side’s impressive home record this weekend.
Preston North End will visit St Andrew’s trying to end the hosts’ run of seven games without defeat.
But Clotet told the club website he was expecting his side’s resolve to be tested.
“I think we need a fantastic St Andrew’s on Saturday because it’s a very tough side,” he said.
“We are facing very tough opposition who has started the league very strong.
“Their stats are very good, when you see them playing, they play with a lot of confidence, we need to make sure we can manage the game, stick to our plans and try to go with our football – and we need a St Andrew’s fully behind the Birmingham players.”
