Sandwell Steelers American football club have spoken of their excitement ahead of Sunday’s opening game of the season. The Sandwell club take on championship contenders Manchester Titans at home 2pm Sunday Afternoon. The Steelers, based in Tipton, play in the British American football Association (BAFA) Premiership North, and last made the playoffs in 2019. Birmingham Unicorns cricket club are aiming to become the second LGBTQ+ team in England to join a league. The Unicorns were established in 2020 as an inclusive space for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ+) community to share their passion of cricket.
