The mid-table Latics have enjoyed a positive start to the Championship campaign and will be keen to prevent Albion from leapfrogging Sheffield United at the top.

Baggies boss Moore knows his side will need to face up to Wigan’s rough and tumble style.

“Wigan’s home record speaks for itself and that’s why they’re where they are in the division,” he told the club’s website.

“They’ve started the campaign really well after being promoted. They’ve got an aggressive style, up and in your face. They’re a connected unit. You get that with a promoted team, that momentum.

“We’ll have to be at our best. We’ve got to continue what we’ve been doing but improve on little things here and there.”
