The break-ins have happened at factories, businesses and charity stores across the region, causing £250,000 worth of damage.

Officers from Staffordshire Police raided the addresses just before 7am today (27th September).

A 27-year-old and a 29-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of burglary.

Detective Inspector Giles Parsons said: “There have been more than 14 break-ins at commercial properties across the West Midlands and Staffordshire since July. We treat this type of crime seriously.

“This raid is part of our commitment to tackling burglaries of this type across the county.”
