Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce has urged his players to cut out the “silly mistakes”.
He made his comments in the press conference ahead of his side’s game with Bristol City tonight (28th September).
Bruce admitted his side needed to improve in certain areas.
“We’ve scored enough goals,” he said. “But defensively we’ve conceded too many.
“We’ve given silly goals away – we have to be better without the ball.”
Bruce also praised midfielder Jack Grealish, who signed a new long-term contract this week.
