New Aston Villa manager Dean Smith has said he hopes to bring “entertaining football” to the club.
The former Brentford boss has replaced Steve Bruce at Villa Park.
And the boyhood Villa supporter admits he wants to change the way his new squad play.
“I want players to go and create and score goals. It makes for entertaining football,” he said during his first interview with the Aston Villa website.
“But I want to make sure we’re tight at the back, too, because there’s two sides to the game – with the ball and without the ball. We need to be good at both.”
