The 24-year-old, from Handsworth, first found fame in Channel 4 drama Raised by Wolves before building up a varied career that combines acting, directing, grime music videos, comedy and youth activism.

He’s also established a role as a social media star, building up a 40,000 strong following on Instagram by posting regular comedy clips and memes about his life.

He is backing a campaign led by West Midlands Mayor Andy Street to encourage Channel 4 to move from its London HQ to Birmingham.

Theo said:  “There is a lot of talent here – getting a chance to be on Channel 4 while I did Raised by Wolves was a dream come true for me.

“If that was in Birmingham there would be way more opportunities. I know that could change a lot more people’s lives.”

This year Theo stars in the crime thriller The Intent 2, featuring grime star Wylie. It’s the sequel to The Intent, which was an underground smash last year and trended on Netflix.

He is also starting work on the set of Are We Dead Yet? a comedy horror film written and directed by Fredi Kruga Nwaka.

Theo said: “I’m really excited about 2018, I hope this is going to be a great year for me.”

Theo has just landed a new agent who also represents Richard Blackwood and is additionally working on his own film project.
