The price to hire full size football pitches in Lincoln has increased by an average of almost a quarter since 2022, according to data obtained by Birmingham Eastside.
The figures, obtained through a Freedom of Information request to Lincoln City Council, reveal that a season booking in 2024-25 cost £578.20 with a caretaker, or £441.50 if you hold the keys.
The biggest increase was the caretaker fee for a one-off booking, jumping from £70 in 2022-23 to £123.74 this season — a rise of over three quarters.
Meanwhile, the key holder cost for a one-time booking has increased by 8%.
