Mum2Mum Market is finally hosting its Sutton Coldfield event after postponing it since the first national lockdown. The market is run by mothers who can buy and sell children’s items.

It is taking place in Sutton Coldfield’s Mere Green Community Centre on March 19.

Visitors can book a stall to sell or buy pre-loved children’s items.

Emma Carter, owner of Mum2Mum Sutton Coldfield, Tamworth and Coleshill, said: “We all know how expensive children are and the markets benefit everyone involved.

“After being a seller previously I found that extra little bit of money helps with days out, meals etc.”

Items available to buy include pushchairs, walkers, princess castles and branded Playmate toys.

Ms Carter also said one of her favourite things about the market is: “interacting with local businesses who offer children’s classes/groups.”

After two years of not being able to run due to Coronavirus, the market is expecting to have 27 open stalls including two business stands. Bakery Lou’s Kitchen is also going to be there to sell her cakes.

Mum of two, Zina Kular, regularly goes to the markets to buy items for her two children.

She said: “I highly recommend it to anyone who is about to have a baby or wants to buy gifts for a baby.”

The market also has pop up shops in Worcester, Redditch, Walsall, Coventry and Hereford with franchises running across the U.K.

The Mum2Mum website has more information, where you can also book your own stall.
