Aston Villa recorded a welcome win against Bolton Wanderers – but manager Dean Smith still expects more from his players.
Jack Grealish and James Chester were on target to earn their side a crucial three points.
But despite the victory, Smith believes Villa’s stars should be shining brighter.
“We were comfortable winners,” he told the club website. “But I expect more.
“I thought we were average, to be honest. We got a good win, after a good start.
“There was another spell in there that really showed me what these players can do when they have a bit of confidence in them.
“But we were a bit loose at times and awarded Bolton several big chances.”
