Redditch company announces plan to create 200 new jobs

A Redditch-based company is to create 200 new jobs in the coming months.

Utilitywise will split the sales posts between Redditch and an office in North Tyneside.

The consultancy firm currently employs 1,500 people.

Chris Charlton, the company’s managing director of enterprise, said: “This appointment of new colleagues reflects the growing demand for smart technology and utility controls.

“With companies in the UK facing rising business rates and economic uncertainty, businesses are becoming increasingly keen to get a better deal on their utilities.

“The opportunities are also available to applicants with little to no sales experience.”
