Mental health to be explored through poetry at Birmingham gallery event

Poets will reveal how they explore mental health through their work at an event in Birmingham.

The Centrala Gallery on Fazeley Street will host Dianne Aslett as she showcases her Hazards of Enlightenment collection.

A spokesperson said: “This is a great event for discovering new poetry and for those interested in mental health and the arts.

“It will be a thought-provoking, engaging evening with poetry that is honest, sometimes hard hitting, yet beautiful and often tender.”

The event takes place on July 27th at 7pm. Admission is free and places can be reserved online.
