on November 17, 2016

New Narrative Enterprise Foundation are partnering with Mercedes-Benz (Central Birmingham) and LSH Auto UK to present a Fashion Show Fundraiser on the 24th of November to raise money to tackle child poverty in Birmingham.

In the UK, 63% of children are living in poverty and over 100,000 of these children live in Birmingham. Their low income families are struggling to escape the poverty trap leaving the children unable to reach their full potential.

The New Narrative Enterprise Foundation is a new charity that seeks to support those who are disadvantaged within our society with the opportunity to start and create their own business.

Mandy Rawlings, Marketing Director of the Fashion Show Fundraiser described the up and coming Fashion Show to be ‘a fantastic evening of fundraising’.

“The Fashion Variety Show Fundraiser is designed to create awareness for child poverty and the charity we are raising money for The New Narrative Enterprise Foundation.

We have done this many years and it has been successful each time. On the 1st of December in Whitefield, Mercedes-Benz are again hosting another fashion show which will be raising money for Variety, the Children’s Charity.

The dealership is big enough to create a phenomenal turn out for the Fashion Show and we are all very proud of how it has always turned out’. ‘Our plan is to support 1000 plus families by the end of 2020 in Birmingham.”

The evening will consist of fashion and entertainment from local boutiques and live music from local artists in which are still waiting to be announced.

Models all around Birmingham are volunteering to help create awareness for the cause on social media and to model the exclusive fashion from the local boutiques.

Mandy went out to say that the main objective of the evening is, ‘to make sure that we tackle child poverty as much as we can in the near future’.

All proceeds from the ticket sales, sponsors and donations will all go to The New Narrative Enterprise Foundation and all the work they are due to carry out from December 2016 onwards. Tickets are available for purchase here.
